A recent survey has found that just 12% of the UK population manage to eat five portions of fruit and vegetables a day while another 12% don't eat any at all!
It seems there's a link between income and eating fruit and veg, as those who are better off are more likely to eat 5-a-day and the less well off likely to eat none.
People are aware of the message to eat 5-a-day but most aren't achieving it, which is extremely worrying given the huge number of health benefits associated with eating fruit and vegetables.
